Belong for Good is a youth-led, non-profit initiative working with children and young women from vulnerable families, rural areas, and underserved communities. We promote wellbeing, social inclusion, and climate resilience by placing women and young people at the heart of climate action.
Mental wellbeing is influenced by the social, economic and environmental conditions in which people live, including poverty, exclusion, gender inequality, and climate-related impacts. These challenges can affect people long before a mental-health condition develops, particularly among children, young people, women and vulnerable communities.
Belong for Good promotes and protects mental wellbeing by acting early, building resilience, inclusion, knowledge and supportive communities — before challenges become crises.

Why Belong for Good exists, in the words of the person who started it.

One day, I looked around my community and asked myself, what happens when a young person has the potential to change their community, but lacks the opportunity to be heard, supported, or included?
That question became the beginning of Belong for Good.
I founded Belong for Good with a belief that every child and young woman deserves to feel valued, have opportunities to grow, and be part of creating solutions for their communities.
Today, we work alongside vulnerable and underserved communities to strengthen wellbeing, promote social inclusion, and build climate resilience — placing young people and women at the heart of change.
Because when people feel they belong, they are empowered to build a better future.

Founder, Belong for Good
Soil erosion destroyed our commercial vegetable garden, causing severe financial hardship and anxiety but through Women Warriors program first cohort, I have grown, recovered, and happy to serve as mental health advocate in my community.
The Women Warriors program cohort one 2025, has been an eye-opening journey, equipping me with knowledge and inspiration to advocate for the link between climate change and mental health. I am proud to be part of a movement empowering young women to lead with resilience, awareness and action.
The program introduced me to new concepts in health climate anxiety and the power of storytelling and awareness. I am proud to say that mental wellbeing is for everyone and I can be the one to provide a space to those in need.
Whether you want to join a program, volunteer, or partner with us, we'd love to hear from you.
